Dolly Swift was an excellent rover, was one of the most prolific — some say the most prolific goal-scorer in Hockey in the 1890s.

After hanging up his skates in 1899 he became a military man, rising to the rank of Brigadier General and serving his country admirably in the First World War..

SIHR's database has him scoring 56 goals in 62 games.
