Albert Edward "Dolly" Swift Born January 30, 1866 in Quebec City, Quebec - Died April 20, 1948 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario was a Canadian amateur ice Hockey forward.
Swift was active in the 1880s and 1890s. Swift played predominantly for his hometown club Quebec Hockey Club of the Amateur Hockey Association of Canada.
Swift also spent some time with the Montreal Victorias in 1887
Dolly Swift was an excellent rover, was one of the most prolific — some say the most prolific goal-scorer in Hockey in the 1890s.
After hanging up his skates in 1899 he became a military man, rising to the rank of Brigadier General and serving his country admirably in the First World War..
