Arthur Wood and Charlie Patterson were neighbors and worked together in Cooksville, Ontario (now part of Mississauga where Hwy 2 and Hwy 10 [Dundas & Hurontario Streets] intersect.) Cook a dentist saw over 200 young boys with broken teeth each year and wanted to do something about it.
