Memorial Cup Presentational Pocket Watch from Regina Monarchs with Proclamation - 1928.
It's often interesting to see what items great players kept from the beginning of their playing careers. Mush March held on to this "Longines" engraved pocket watch his entire lifetime, as it was very important to him due to his Regina Monarchs junior team winning the championship in Canada that special season. This great timepiece reads "Regina Monarchs Dominion Junior Hockey Champions 1927-28 H.C. March Right Wing" in an elegant engraving font. The watch is in overall presentable condition, with moderate scratching on the crystal. In addition, the competition in 1928 for the Memorial Cup was so fierce that when the Monarchs beat the Ottawa Gunners the city of Regina had a huge celebration and gave March and his teammates a proclamation.
