Murray Dean Craven - Born July 20, 1964 in Medicine Hat, Alberta is a Canadian retired ice Hockey left winger.

Craven made his NHL debut with Detroit Red Wings on December 29, 1982 vs Minnesota North Stars at Met Center in a 5-5 tie.

Craven scored his 1st NHL goal vs Rick St. Croix of Toronto Maple Leafs at 10:56 of 1st period on January 15, 1983 at Joe Louis Arena in a 4-3 Red Wings win.

Craven scored his 1st NHL hat-trick vs Clint Malarchuk of Buffalo Sabres on December 7, 1991 at Hartford Civic Center in a 6-6 tie.

Craven played in 1071 regular season NHL games, scoring 266 goals (42 GWG / 6 OTG), 493 assists with 524 penalty minutes and 118 NHL playoff games, scoring 27 goals (5 GWG / 1 OTG), 43 assists with 64 penalty minutes.
