Allan Bruce Cline - Born November 14, 1931 in Massawippi, Quebec - Died April 24, 2025 in Drummondville, Quebec was a Canadian ice Hockey right winger and coach.

- Quebec Junior Hockey League Champion 1951 with Quebec Citadelles.

- Dudley 'Red' Garrett Memorial Award Winner 1956.

- Calder Cup Champion 1956 with Providence Reds, 1960, 1961, 1962 with Springfield Indians.
Calder Cup finalist 1959, 1965.

- F. G. "Teddy" Oke Trophy Champion 1956, 1957 with Providence Reds, 1959 with Buffalo Bisons, 1960, 1961, 1962 with Springfield Indians, 1967, 1968 with Hershey Bears.

Cline played his junior Hockey with the Quebec Citadelles, then joined the senior Valleyfield Braves for 3 seasons.

Cline turned pro with the Providence Reds, helping them win the Calder Cup championship in 1956.... his 1st.

Cline played 30 games in the NHL, all for the New York Rangers, making his debut on October 31, 1956 vs Toronto Maple Leafs at Maple Leaf Gardens in a 7-2 Toronto win.

Cline scored his 1st NHL goal vs Glenn Hall of Detroit Red Wings at 8:34 of 2nd period on December 9, 1956 at Madison Square Garden in a 4-2 Rangers win. His goal was the game winner. In those 30 games, Cline scored 2 goals (1 GWG), 3 assists with 10 penalty minutes.

Cline played the majority of his professional career in the American Hockey League / AHL with Providence Reds, Buffalo Bisons, Springfield Indians and Hershey Bears.

Cline played in 823 regular season AHL games, scoring 321 goals, 452 assists with 217 penalty minutes and 89 AHL playoff games, scoring 24 goals, 34 assists with 31 penalty minutes. He had eight 20-goal seasons, and his 58 points in Calder Cup Playoff games still rank among the league’s all-time leaders.

Cline was selected to the AHL First All-Star Team in 1961.

After retiring as a player, Cline coached the Drummondville Rangers for a few seasons back in his home Province of Quebec.

Bruce Cline was inducted into the AHL Hall of Fame in 2016.

Bruce Cline was inducted into the Hershey Bears Hockey Club Hall of Fame in 2023.

NOTE
The 3 Calder Cup championships in a row the Springfield Indians won (1960, 1961, 1962) has yet to be equaled.
