Charles George "Chuck" Hamilton - Born January 18, 1939 in Kirkland Lake, Ontario - Died September 17, 2023 in Punta Gorda, Florida was a Canadian/American ice Hockey left winger / defencman and coach.

Hamilton played his junior Hockey with Peterborough TPT Petes, helping them win the OHA championship in 1959 and making the finals of the Memorial Cup that season.

Hamilton then turned pro with the Hull-Ottawa Canadiens in the Eastern Professional Hockey League / EPHL, helping them win the the league championship in 1961 and 1962.

Hamilton only played 4 games in the NHL, making his debut with Montreal Canadiens on March 4, 1962 vs Chicago Black Hawks at Chicago Stadium in a 5-2 Black Hawks win. His other 3 games were with St. Louis Blues in early January 1973 and he had 2 assists.

Hamilton played most of his pro career with the American Hockey League with the Hershey Bears.

Hamilton played in 459 regular season AHL games, scoring 77 goals, 161 assists with 241 penalty minutes and 52 AHL playoff games, scoring 5 goals, 14 assists with 40 penalty minutes.

After retiring as a player, Hamilton turned to coaching the Hershey Bears for 6 seasons.

Chuck Hamilton was inducted into the Hershey Bears Hockey Club Hall of Fame in 2016.
