The Marlboros played a 48 game regular OHA season, winning 23, losing 15 with 10 ties, finishing 2nd in OHA standings.

The Marlboros then defeated Hamilton Red Wings 4-0 in games to win the 1967 J. Ross Robertson Cup Junior, the Thetford Mines Canadiens 3-1 in games to win the 1967 George Richardson Memorial Trophy.

The Marlboros then played the Port Arthur Marrs for the Memorial Cup Championship.

All games in the Memorial Cup final would be played in the 4,400-seat Fort William Gardens in Fort William, Ontario.
