The Springfield Indians became the 1st AHL team to win both the F. G. Teddy Oke Trophy, as regular season champs and the Calder Cup as playoff champs in 2 straight seasons 1960 and 1961. They would win both again the next season, for a hat-trick of championships for both regular season and playoffs.
