Artist - Harvey Dinnerstein - Born April 3, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York - Died June 21, 2022 in Brooklyn, New York was an American figurative artist and educator.

Dinnerstein studied at the Art Students League of New York with such notable artists as Moses Soyer and Yasuo Kuniyoshi. He's perhaps best known for his series of drawings documenting the Civil Rights upheaval of the 1960's, along with his painting of Joe DiMaggio. His work resides in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art and the National Museum of American Art, among many others.
