Reginald Joseph "Reggie" Leach CM OM - Born April 23, 1950 in Riverton, Manitoba is a Canadian indigenous (Ojibwe) retired ice Hockey right winger.

Leach was named the the WCHL First Teal All-Star at Right Wing in 1968 , 1969 and 1970.
Leach was top scorer in the WCHL for the 1969-70 season, winning the MVP.

Only 3 players from the current winners has had more the the 61 goals Leach scored ..... and that's The Great 8 Alexander Ovechkin with 65 goals in 2007-08, Connor McDavid with 64 in 2022-23 and Austin Mathews with 69 in 2023-24 and their are only 15 NHL players that have scored more then his 61. No Philadelphia Flyers player has scored more.

Leach scored 4 goals in the Finals, and 19 in total during the playoffs to win the Conn Smythe Trophy..... even though the Flyers lost the Cup to the Canadiens.
Leach was the 1st non-goaltender in NHL history to be named MVP of the playoffs in an unsuccessful cause, and the third of only six as of 2024. His accomplishment followed Roger Crozier (Detroit Red Wings, in 1966) and Glenn Hall (St. Louis Blues, 1968) and preceded Ron Hextall (Philadelphia, 1987) and Jean-Sebastien Giguere (Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, 2003), Connor McDavid (Edmonton Oilers, 2024).

Leach made his NHL debut with the Boston Bruins on October 11, 1970 vs Detroit Red Wings at Boston Garden in a 7-3 Boston win.

Leach scored his 1st NHL goal on January 31, 1971 vs Ernie Wakely of the St. Louis Blues at 13:46 of the 2nd period at Boston Garden in a 6-0 Boston win.

Leach scored his 1st NHL Hat-Trick vs Mike Veisor of the Chicago Black Hawks on January 6, 1974 at Chicago Stadium in a 9-4 Chicago win.

Leach was named to Team Canada for the inaugural 1976 Canada Cup, becoming just a select few Indigenous players that have represented Canada at that point.

Leach played 934 regular season NHL games, scoring 381 goals (58 GWG), 285 assists and 94 NHL playoff games, scoring 47 goals (8 GWG / 2 OTG) and 22 assists.
