Joseph Hector "Hec" Lépine - Born December 7, 1897 in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec – Died March 29, 1951 was a Canadian ice Hockey centre and coach.

Lépine made his NHL debut with the Montreal Canadiens on November 28, 1925 vs Pittsburgh Pirates at Mount Royal Arena in a 1-0 Pittsburgh win.

Lépine scored his 1st NHL goal vs John Ross Roach of Toronto St. Patricks at 18:15 of the 2nd period on January 5, 1926 at Mount Royal Arena in a 5-4 Montreal win. He had 2 goals and 1 assist in the game, his 2nd goal was game winner.

Lépine played in 33 regular season NHL games, scoring 5 goals (1 GWG), 2 assists with 2 penalty minutes - No playoffs.

Lépine was sent down to the Canadiens farm team, the Providence Reds / Rhode Island Reds for the 1926-27 inaugural season of Canadian-American Hockey League / Can-Am Hockey League, playing in the 1st game in league history on December 1, 1926, also scoring the 1st goal in Providence Reds history in a 7-1 Springfield Indians win.

Lépine then turned to coaching.
