12-year old Robert Brian "Robbie" Ftorek (born January 2, 1952 in Needham, Massachusetts) with Boston Pee Wee team in 1964, playing against the Loisirs St-Eusebe team from Montreal.
As an adult, Ftorek would go on to play for the Phoenix Roadrunners and Cincinnati Stingers in the World Hockey Association (WHA), and for the Detroit Red Wings, Quebec Nordiques and New York Rangers in the National Hockey League (NHL).
He also played for the United States national team at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo, earning a silver medal.
He was enshrined as a member of the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 1991.
