Gary Simmons - Born July 19, 1944 in Charlottetown, PEI is a Canadian retired ice Hockey goaltender.
Memorial Cup finalist 1964 and 1965 with Edmonton Oil Kings.
- Herder Memorial Trophy Champion 1967 with Conception Bay Cee Bees.
Simmons made his NHL debut with the California Golden Seals on October 11, 1974 vs Atlanta Flames at Oakland Arena in a 3-0 Seals win. This was also his 1st NHL win and 1st NHL shutout.
Simmons played in 107 NHL regular season games, winning 30, losing 57 with 15 ties and 5 shutouts.
