Montreal La Casquette of the Montreal Hockey League (MHL) in 1915–16, joined by players from the Montreal Stars and All-Montreal of the MHL, and from the Montreal Nationale of the Montreal City Hockey League (MCHL), for a three-game series with the Quebec Montagnais of the Quebec City Hockey League (QCHL) for the Fontaine Cup, in March 1916. La Casquette won 2 games to 1.

Billy Hughes, Jack Lahue and Joe Roddick played with the Montreal Stars, Leonard Pollock was an All-Montreal player, whereas Hervé Dandurand represented Montreal Nationale.

Joe Maltais, Mervyn Watson, Billy Young, Norm Crawford and Joe Matte were regular La Casquette players for the 1915–16 MHL season.
