Gerald Marcus "Gerry" Meehan - Born September 3, 1946 in Toronto, Ontario - Died June 5, 2026 was a Canadian ice Hockey centre and general manager.

Meehan made his NHL debut with Toronto Maple Leafs on December 1, 1968 vs New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden in a 3-1 Rangers win.

Meehan scored his 1st NHL goal vs Les Binkley of Pittsburgh Penguins at 5:48 of 2nd period on October 18, 1970 at Buffalo Memorial Auditorium in a 1-1 tie.

Meehan scored his 1st NHL hat-trick vs Jim Rutherford of Detroit Red Wings on February 20, 1971 at Detroit Olympia in a 6-5 Detroit win.

Meehan played in 670 regular season NHL games, scoring 180 goals (23 GWG), 243 assists with 111 penalty minutes and 10 NHL playoff games, having 1 assist.

Gerry Meehan was inducted into the Etobicoke Sports Hall of Fame in 2010.

Gerry Meehan was inducted into the Newmarket Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.

Gerry Meehan was inducted into the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame in 2023.

Meehan had the 1st assist in Buffalo Sabres history, on a goal by Jim Watson on October 10, 1970 at Pittsburgh Civic Arena in a 2-1 Buffalo win.
