Ernest "Red" Kurz was a Canadian ice Hockey defenceman - Born December 09, 1927 in Winnipeg, Manitoba - Died October 23, 2002 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Played for the Wembley Monarchs from 1946 to 1950.
Played for the Dundee Tigers / Brighton Tigers from 1951 to 1956.

At age 23, Kurz was the youngest player/coach in British Hockey.
