William E. "Billy, Pud" Hamilton of the Pittsburgh Athletic Club of the Western Pennsylvania Hockey League.

Pud Hamilton was a defenseman originally from Kingston, Ontario and had a rough edge to his game. He played six seasons with the Pittsburgh PAC in the WPHL between 1898–1904. From 1904–07 he played three seasons in the International Professional Hockey League with the Michigan Soo Indians, a team that was based in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
