Rochester Americans 1966

Cherry and the Rochester Americans would defend their 1965 Calder Cup championship, by defeating the Cleveland Barons 4 games to 2, and win the 1966 American Hockey League Calder Cup championship.

The Rochester Americans were also the 1965-66 regular season champions - west division, and were awarded the John D. Chick Trophy.
