Lowell Skating Rink 1882
The Lowell Skating Rink was located on Gorham Street in Lowell, Massachusetts.
The skating floor was made of yellow birch, and there was ornamental railings that separated the skaters from the fifteen-foot-wide promenade.
From the promenade, spectators watched skaters from their rows of camp chairs.
The New England Polo (roller polo) League used the rink for some of their games.
The Lowell skating rink closed in early 1885 was sold and torn down soon after.
