Richard Otis "Dick" Meredith - Born December 22, 1932 in South Bend, Indiana - Died February 6, 2025 was a American ice Hockey left winger.

- Winter Olympics Silver Medal Winner 1956 with Team USA.

- Winter Olympics Gold Medal Champion 1960 with Team USA

While playing with the Minnesota Golden Gophers, Meredith was selected to play for Team USA in the 1956 Winter Olympics, winning a Silver Medal.

Meredith also played for Team USA in the 1958 and 1959 World Ice Hockey Championships.

Meredith was again selected to play for Team USA at the 1960 Winter Olympics, helping them win the Gold Medal.

Meredith later played for Minneapolis Millers, Minneapolis Rebels, and the St. Paul Steers.

After retiring as a player, Meredith joined the front office of the Minnesota North Stars.

Dick Meredith was inducted into the University of Minnesota Athletics Hall of Fame in 2015
