The Chicago Black Hawks were victorious two of the first three games, and the fourth game in Chicago actually went thirty minutes of overtime until Mush March scored the game-winning goal against Detroit goaltender Wilf Cude - 10:05, second OT.
March, realizing the historical significance of this puck dove into the net and retrieved it, holding on to it for his entire life.
At the time, a record was set for the 18,000-person game two attendance at Chicago Stadium.
The game puck is mounted on a classy wood plaque measuring at 6x8", with a gold plaque reading "Winning Puck Stanley Cup 1934 Mush March".
