The “Great Seal of Canada” is a 5” in diameter affair at the top of the page, where green ribbon also is affixed. The section mentioning Stanley commences at the bottom of the page and continues on the next. It reads “Witness: Our Right Trusty, and Well Beloved the Right Honourable Sir Frederick Arthur Stanley, Baron Stanley, Stanley of Preston, in the county of Lancaster in the Peerage of Great Britain, Knight Grand Cross of our Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Governor General of Canada and Vice Admiral of the same.”
