Miroslav Šatan - Born October 22, 1974 in Topoľčany, Czechoslovakia is a Slovak retired ice Hockey right winger and current President of the Slovenský zväz ľadového hokeja.

- Slovak Extraliga Champion 1994 with Dukla Trenčín, 2012 with Slovan Bratislava.

- 2000, 2012 IIHF World Championships Silver Medal Winner with Slovakia.
Šatan was named Best Forward and selected to the Media All-Star Team.

- 2003 IIHF World Championship Bronze Medal Winner with Slovakia.

- World Ice Hockey Champion 2002 with Slovakia.
Šatan was Tournament MVP and selected to the Media All-Star Team.

- Stanley Cup Champion 2009 with Pittsburgh Penguins.

- Prince of Wales Trophy Champion 2009 with Pittsburgh Penguins.

Šatan made his NHL debut with Edmonton Oilers on October 15, 1995 vs Philadelphia Flyers at CoreStates Spectrum in a 7-1 Flyers win. He assisted on the Oilers only goal.

Šatan scored his 1st NHL goal vs Corey Hirsch of Vancouver Canucks at 5:24 of 2nd period on October 21, 1995 at Edmonton Coliseum in a 6-4 Oilers win. His goal was the game winner.

Šatan scored his 1st NHL hat-trick vs Maxime Ouellet of Washington Capitals on December 31, 2003 at HSBC Arena in a 7-1 Buffalo win.

Šatan played in 1050 regular season NHL games, scoring 363 goals (50 GWG / 4 OTG), 372 assists with 464 penalty minutes and 86 NHL playoff games, scoring 21 goals (5 GWG / 2 OTG), 33 assists with 41 penalty minutes.

Šatan represented Slovakia 129 times as a senior, scoring 61 goals, 49 assists with 84 penalty minutes.

In June 2019, he was elected President of the Slovak Ice Hockey Federation.

Miroslav Šatan was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2019.
