In the IHL playoffs, the Komets defeated Cleveland Lumberjacks 4-0 in games, Atlanta Knights 4-0 in games winning the Frank Gallagher Trophy as Eastern Conference champions, and San Diego Gulls 4-0 in games for the 1993 Turner Cup championship.
Pokey Reddick won the Norman R. "Bud" Poile Trophy as IHL Playoffs MVP.
Coach Al Sims won the Commissioner's Trophy as best coach.
