A young Harold Ellis "Harry" Watson (1898–1957), also known as "Moose" Watson, while a member of St. Andrew's College in Toronto.
St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador native Watson started out his hockey career while attending St. Andrew's College in Toronto, where he was a scoring phenom from the forward position in the junior section of the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA).
He would later play senior hockey for the Toronto Granites in the OHA, and in 1924 Watson and the Granites represented Canada at the 1924 Olympics in Chamonix, winning a gold medal, with Watson leading the tournament scoring chart by a wide margin.
Harry Watson was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1963.
