William Charles "Bill" Hay - Born December 9, 1935 in Saskatoon (Lumsden), Saskatchewan is a Canadian retired ice Hockey centre, president, chairman, ceo, coo and always a Ambassador for Hockey.

Hay was named to the NCAA Championship All-Tournament Team.

- Stanley Cup Champion 1960 with Chicago Black Hawks.

Bill Hay made his NHL debut with the Chicago Black Hawks on October 7, 1959 vs New York Rangers at Chicago Stadium in a 5-2 Chicago win.

Hay scored his 1st NHL goal vs Terry Sawchuk of the Detroit Red Wings at 19:38 of the 1st period on November 16, 1959 at The Olympia in a 3-2 Detroit win.

Hay played 506 NHL regular season games, scoring 113 Goals (13 GWG), 273 assists with 244 penalty minutes and 67 NHL playoff games, scoring 15 goals (5 GWG), 21 assists with 60 penalty minutes.

In 1980, Bill Hay joined the Selection Committee of the Hockey Hall of Fame, serving in that capacity until 1995. Additionally, he was named to the Hall of Fame's board of directors, a role in which he served from 1995 to 1998, when he was named Chairman until his retirement in 2013. 15 years as Chairman and CEO.

Hay was also the President and CEO of the Calgary Flames from 1991 to 1995.
