Nicholas "Nick" Mickoski - Born December 7, 1927 in Winnipeg, Manitoba – Died March 13, 2002 in Winnipeg, Manitoba was a Canadian ice Hockey right winger and coach.
1st NHL game on April 1, 1948 playing for New York Rangers vs Detroit Red Wings at The Olympia. 3-1 playoff game loss.
1st NHL goal on October 31, 1948 vs Frank Brimsek of the Boston Bruins at 7:24 of the 2nd in a 2-0 victory. His goal was the game winner.
Mickoski played in the 1956 NHL All-Star Game
- Lester Patrick Cup Champion 1963 and 1964 with WHL San Francisco Seals.
Nicolas "Nick" Mickoski was inducted into the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame in 1985.
Nicolas "Nick" Mickoski was inducted into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame and Museum in 2004.
