EditVyacheslav Ivanovich Starshinov - Born May 6, 1940 in Moscow, Soviet Union is a Russian retired ice Hockey centre, coach, executive and author.
Starshinov won three Soviet league championships 1962, 1967, 1969 while playing with HC Spartak Moscow. He was the best goal scorer of the Soviet Championships in 1967 (47 goals) and 1968 (46 goals).
Starshinov was Soviet National team captain 1969 to 1971, during his 1960 to 1972 international career.
