EditJames "Jim" Logan - Born September 17, 1933 in Whitby, Ontario is a Canadian ice Hockey centre.
Logan played his early Hockey with a Catholic Youth League in Toronto, Ontario.
Logan then played his junior Hockey with the Toronto St. Michael's from 1950 to 1954, as he attended their school too.
Logan then joined the senior Kitchener-Waterloo Flying Dutchmen for the 1954-55 season, leading the team in scoring during the regular season, and then helping them win the 1955 J. Ross Robertson Cup championship as Ontario Hockey Association / OHA Senior A League champions, and the 1955 Allan Cup championship.
Logan and the Kitchener-Waterloo Flying Dutchmen were sent to Italy as the representatives for Canada at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo.
The Kitchener-Waterloo Dutchmen suffered losses to both the USA (4-1) and the USSR (2-0), claiming the Bronze Medal at the 1956 Winter Olympics.
Logan and teammate Paul Knox led the Winter Olympic tournament in points, with 7 goals, 8 assists.
When Logan returned from the Winter Olympic games, he joined the Winnipeg Warriors of the Western Hockey League / WHL, but after scoring just 7 goals in 26 games, he was sold to the Springfield Indians of the American Hockey League for cash in late December 1956.
Logan, however, refused to report to the team and therefore missed most of the season, eventually getting in seven games with the Sudbury Wolves of the Northern Ontario Hockey Association / NOHA.
Logan played the next two full seasons with the Sudbury Wolves, now in the OHA Senior league, and then retired from active play in 1959, and focused on his accounting job in Sudbury, Ontario.
