Moscow Cup 2011. One of the most prestigious Table Top Hockey Tournaments in the world today.
Two time champion and current World Champion Roni Nuttunen will try for the Hat Trick and win the Moscow Cup for a third time. Roni Nuttunen is playing Top Notch Table Hockey right now, and is worth the price of admission just to watch this guy play. Nobody understands the quick fundimentals of the Table Top Hockey game better then Roni. If You have any interest in Table Top Hockey, Google or Youtube Roni Nuttunen and watch how this guy plays. You can learn from this guy, he's like the Gretzky of Table Top Hockey. He is also a proud Finnish boy.
Speaking of Finland, seems they are dominating the Table Top Hockey sport these days, Latvia is Strong too, and the Czech's and Russians are also very good. Sweden has been slipping the last couple of years, but they have some good young talent on the way up, and they used to dominate the sport, the regulation Table Top Hockey games are made in Sweden, so its only a matter of time before they fight their way back up to some championship games, thats where you learn how to play the quick high skill games.
The North american game has been on the rise, seems we always have players that can win tournaments here, and get some results when they go to Europe for tournaments, but can never win the big one. What is it boys ? are we playing to much table top Hockey on the vintage games we love, maybe to much bubble Hockey ? My suggestion is to get yourself a brand new Stiga Table Top Hockey Game, get 2 or 3 sets of players, keep one set just for tournament use - make sure they are regulation. If you are any type of artist then get some model car paint, and turn your players into whatever you can paint on them, how about Zombies vs Team USA, interesting to paint, fun to play against each other. The more you play, the better you get - ITS SIMPLE. Have some fun while your learning to play the Stiga game, get your friends to get their own games and start your league - Home and Away. I RECOMMEND BRINGING BEER & HEALTHY FOOD to your friends house when your playing a league game. Good Friends, Good Fun, Good Learning - and maybe one day, one of us North Americans can WIN A WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.
