TEAM CANADA - IIHF WORLD INLINE HOCKEY CHAMPIONS - 2012
Team Canada are the new Inline Hockey World Champions after defeating the host team Germany in a exciting Gold Medal game at The Saturn Arena in Ingolstadt, Gerrmany.
Team Canada waited a long 14 years since their last World Inline Hockey Championship in 1998. Max Grassi open the scoring just 37 seconds into the Championship Game, and never looked back as they defeated Team Germany 9 to 5 in front of 4,575 Inline Hockey Fans, most of them cheering for the home team. Max Grassi had 4 goals and 1 assist in the Championship Game, while teammate Thomas Woods had 3 goals and 1 assist in the game.
