Greetings HockeyGods and HockeyGoddesses! The team at HockeyGods.com would like to take a moment to thank each and everyone of you for visiting our site, watching our videos, participating in our first Hockey Pool and being a fan of ours and of Hockey general.

We would like to take the time now to give and extra THANK YOU to all those members who became 'Gold Medal Members' by donating a small amount towards our site. YOU GUYS/GALS ROCK!

Another extra thanks goes out to those who participated in our first Hockey Pool. We hope you all had fun making your picks and competing for the top spot. Congratulations to user nelzon for being the overall points winner, followed up by Kanuck. It was a battle all the way to the end. All the winners will be contacted soon and the prizes will be worked out.

Our goal here at HockeyGods.com has always been, and continues to be, to try and bring together Hockey fans across the world and unite them by offering up a place that houses the most unique, comprehensive, and fun Hockey content available; from Ice Hockey and Field Hockey all the way to Underwater Hockey, Air Hockey, Table-Top Hockey and more. This may be a gargantuan endeavour (and believe us, it is) but we are still as committed as ever to achieving these heights.

We have just put forth a massive update to the website (all of the underlying frameworks and designs have been updated) to try and keep on top of not just Hockey itself, but the technologies to bring forth our content to you in sleek and fun new ways. We have several fresh and exciting ideas coming through the pipeline such as forums, tonnes of new content (lots of which will be user submitted) and a completely Hockey related social feed style interface for our members, just to name a few. Again, we are very small (with absolutely no budget) but are dedicated to making this happen and it will not be done without your support and feedback.

As for this most recent update, the Image Gallery has been completely overhauled and hopefully provides a better and more interesting way to interact with the images within. Our goal for the Public Image Gallery is to compile the most complete Hockey related image collection anywhere. This includes historical (of which we have a good many already) and current images of all different types of Hockey. We are asking that you upload any and all different types of images that you can muster up. The rest of the updates are *insert boring techical jargon here* and slight design and layout tweaks. We hope to keep improving on every aspect of the website to make it more navigable and fun to use for everyone.

Feel free to comment below and share your thoughts with us. Also, the forums are coming very soon so we will have a better medium to convey ideas and thoughts with each other.
