Kari Lehtonen - Born November 16, 1983 in Helsinki, Finland is a Finnish retired ice Hockey goaltender.

Lehtonen played his junior and senior Hockey with Helsingin Jokerit.

Lehtonen made his NHL debut with Atlanta Thrashers on March 19, 2004 vs Florida Panthers at Philips Arena in a 3-2 Thrashers win, also his 1st NHL victory. He won his first 4 NHL games.

Lehtonen got his 1st NHL shutout vs Florida Panthers on March 27, 2004 at Office Depot Center in a 3-0 Thrashers win.
