NOTE
In game 2 of conference finals at Chicago Stadium on April 29, 1982, the Canucks protested the officiating of the game by putting white towels on the end of their Hockey sticks in a mock surrender. At game 3 in Vancouver on May 1st, Towel Power was officially born, as the Canucks fans came out with any type of white towel, including some which were printed with logos and waved and twirled them on the streets and in Pacific Coliseum. Towel Power has been used since in all professional team sports.
