The Los Angeles Kings played a 74 game regular NHL season, winning 31, losing 33 with 10 ties and finished 2nd in NHL West Division.

In the 1968 NHL playoffs, the Kings were defeated by Minnesota North Stars 4-3 in games in first round.

Bill Flett led the Kings in goals with 26.
Eddie Joyal led the Kings in assists with 34 and points with 57.
Wayne Rutledge had 20 wins for the Kings.

NOTE
The Kings had long travels to play games on the road, besides the Oakland Seals, the closest team was St. Louis Blues.
Their home record was 20-13-4, while on the road it was 11-20-6
