Jorma Juhani "Valtsu" Valtonen - Born December 22, 1946 in Turku, Finland is a Finnish retired ice Hockey goaltender and coach.

- Kanada-malja Champion (SM-liiga) 1967 with Rosenlewin Urheilijat-38, 1971 with Ässät Pori, 1973 with Jokerit Helsinki.

- Finnish Player of the Year 1971-72.

- 1972 Ice Hockey World Championships Best Goaltender.
Finland finished 4th.

- Italian Hockey League Serie A Champion 1976 with HC Gherdëina.

- Urpo Ylönen Trophy Winner 1979, 1980 with TPS Turku.

- 1994 IIHF Women's World Championships Bronze Medal Winner with Finland (coach).

- 1995 IIHF European Women Championships Winner with Finland (coach).

Valtonen never played in the NHL, but did attend the Toronto Maple Leafs training camp in 1972 and the Pittsburgh Penguins training camp in 1974

Valtonen represented Finland at 3 Winter Olympics - 1972, 1980 and 1984, also being the Finland Flagbearer at the Opening Ceremony (1984).

Valtonen represented Finland at 9 straight World Championships - 1970 to 1979.

Valtonen represented Finland at the 1976 Canada Cup.

Jorma Valtonen was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame 1989.
