Peter John Goegan - Born March 6, 1934 in Fort William, Ontario - Died October 8, 2008 in Thunder Bay, Ontario was a Canadian ice Hockey defenceman.

- Thunder Bay Junior A Hockey League Champion 1953, 1954 with Fort William Columbus Canadiens.

- Patton Cup Champion 1955 with Fort William Beavers.
Allan Cup finalist 1955

- Calder Cup Champion 1957 with Cleveland Barons, 1962 with Springfield Indians, 1967 with Pittsburgh Hornets.

- F. G. "Teddy" Oke Trophy Champion 1962 with Springfield Indians.

Goegan made his NHL debut with Detroit Red Wings on February 22, 1958 vs Boston Bruins at Detroit Olympia in a 6-1 Red Wings win.

Goegan scored his 1st NHL goal vs Ed Chadwick of Toronto Maple Leafs at 13:12 of 2nd period on February 15, 1959 at Detroit Olympia in a 4-2 Red Wings win.

Goegan played in 383 regular season games, scoring 19 goals (1 GWG), 67 assists with 365 penalty minutes and 33 NHL playoff games, scoring 1 goals, 3 assists with 63 penalty minutes.

Pete Goegan was inducted into the Northwestern Ontario Sports Hall of Fame in 1992.
