NOTE
After a Galt Junior Red Wings open practice at Galt Arena Gardens in 1946, There was a pick-up exhibition game played with some invited players. Ranscombe was invited and showed up, even if she hadn't really played much since 1940 when WWII interfered with all leagues and teams.

Legend has it, that Ranscombe took the puck behind her teams net, then skated through the Galt Red Wings on the ice and in on their goalie Terry Sawchuk .... and scored.
