Cesare Maniago - Born January 13, 1939 in Trail, British Columbia is a Canadian retired ice Hockey goaltender and coach.

- Allan Cup Champion 1960 with Chatham Maroons.

- J. Ross Robertson Cup Senior Champion 1960 with Chatham Maroons.

- Eastern Professional Hockey League / EPHL Champion 1962 with Hull-Ottawa Canadiens.

- Tommy Ivan Trophy Winner 1965 with Minneapolis Bruins.

Maniago made his NHL debut with the Toronto Maple Leafs on February 25, 1961 vs Detroit Red Wings at Maple Leaf Gardens in a 3-1 Toronto win, also his 1st NHL victory.

Maniago got his1st NHL Shutout on February 23, 1966 vs the Detroit Red Wings at Madison Square Garden 5-0 victory for New York Rangers.

Maniago played 568 regular season NHL games, winning 190, losing 257, 97 ties with 30 shutouts, 4 assists with 71 penalty minutes and 36 NHL playoff games, winning 15, losing 21 with 3 shutouts with 2 penalty minutes.

Cesare Maniago was inducted into the B.C. Sports Hall of Fame in 1996.

NOTE
Bobby Hull was the 1st NHL player to score more than 50 goals, scoring his 51st goal on Maniago of the New York Rangers at 5:34 of 3rd period on March 12, 1966 at Chicago Stadium in a 4-2 Chicago win.
