Taylor scored his 1st NHL goal vs Denis DeJordy of Chicago Black Hawks at 19:19 of 3rd period on October 28, 1967 at Metropolitan Sports Center in a 4-2 Chicago win.
Taylor played in 166 regular season NHL games, scoring 23 goals (1 GWG), 35 assists with 184 penalty minutes and no NHL playoff games.
Taylor played in 420 regular season WHA games, scoring 123 goals, 164 assists with 598 penalty minutes and 63 WHA playoff games, scoring 18 goals, 21 assists with 147 penalty minutes.
Ted Taylor was inducted into the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame in 1993.
