Great 1919 photo of Native American Ojibwe Taffy Abel at age 19.

5 years later in 1924 Taffy won an Olympic Silver Medal in hockey.

Then in 1926 Taffy broke the NHL Color Barrier with the New York Rangers on November 16, 1926. Willir O'Ree did not break the NHL BIPOC Color Barrier in 1958 as Gary Bettman falsely says.
