Beck made his NHL debut with Colorado Rockies on October 14, 1977 vs Vancouver Canucks at McNichols Sports Arena in a 4-4 tie.
Beck scored his 1st NHL goal vs Tony Esposito of Chicago Black Hawks at 2:47 of the 1st period on October 15, 1977 at Chicago Stadium in a 3-3 tie.
Beck played in 615 regular season NHL games, scoring 104 goals (10 GWG), 251 assists with 1016 penalty minutes and 51 NHL playoff games, scoring 10 goals, 23 assists 77 penalty minutes.
Barry Beck was inducted into the BC Hockey Hall of Fame in 2004.
NOTE
Beck became the 1st player suspended by the NHL for leaving the bench during an altercation - October 4, 1981 (3 game suspension).
