In 2000, Bill’s paintings were the catalyst for the creation of Hockey Day in Canada, a program that empowers the grassroots of Hockey and recognizes where the true spirit and love of Hockey in Canada originates and resides.

William “Bill” Brownridge was inducted into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame in 2022.

NOTE
In 1993 Bill Brownridge was commissioned to design new uniforms for the NHL’s Calgary Flames.....used from 1994 to 2000.

Brownridge also created the logo for the Calgary Centennials of the Western Canada Junior Hockey League in 1966 and used from 1967 to 1977.
