Ice hockey medals from 1883, 1885 and 1886 belonging to Richard Forsyth Smith (1862–1942) of Montreal.

In 1883 Smith, a forward player, was a member of McGill College when the university team won the Montreal Winter Carnival tournament. In 1885 he again won the Montreal Winter Carnival tournament, as a member of the Montreal AAA. In 1886 Smith and the MAAA won the Burlington Winter Carnival tournament, played in Burlington, Vermont.
