Sydney Crosby scored his 1st NHL Goal vs Hannu Toivonen of Boston Bruins at 18:32 of the 2nd period on October 8, 2005 at Mellon Arena in a 7-6 OT Boston win.

Crosby's goal was on the power play, assisted by Mark Recchi and Ziggy Pálffy. Crosby also had 2 assists in the game.

This was the 3rd NHL game for Crosby. He had 1 assist in each of his first 2 NHL games and had a 6 game point streak to start his NHL career (2 goals - 7 assists).
