Joseph Hickson Roddick (1892–1924) of the Montreal Stars of the Montreal Hockey League, 1914–15 season.
Roddick, a forward, died in an electrocution accident in Montreal in 1924, aged 31, while working as a CPR Telegraph lineman. He had then been retired from hockey for four years.
In December of 1924 benefit games were arranged in Montreal in support of Roddick's wife and children.
