Samuel Hamilton "Hamby" Shore (1886–1918) of the Ottawa Senators.

Hamby Shore played with the Ottawa Senators in the ECAHA, CHA, NHA and NHL. He won the Stanley Cup with the club 1905, 1910 & 1911.
Also winning the O'Brien Trophy as NHA Champions in 1911 and 1915.

In 1918 he fell victim to the world wide influenza pandemic and died in his hometown of Ottawa, aged 32.
