James "Jim" Cree - Born August 25, 1889 in Akwesasne / St. Regis Mohawk Reservation, Quebec/New York - Died October 15, 1951 was a Mohawk Indigenous ice Hockey rover, winger.

- Fellowes Cup Champion (USAHA) 1921 with Cleveland Hockey Club

Jim Cree was one of the early indigenous Hockey players that competed against professional players, He played for the Cleveland Athletic Club which used the Elysium Arena for their home games.

The Cleveland team played in the United States Amateur Hockey Association / USAHA, which was for amateur teams, but many of these teams were known to have paid players. There is no evidence that Cree was paid to play, so we will keep his status as amateur.
