Boardwalk Cup / The Boardwalk Challenge Trophy / Atlantic City Boardwalk Trophy

The resort owners and hotel managers of Atlantic City, New Jersey (Atlantic City Merchants Association) created a brass trophy decorated with eagles and winged angels, to be awarded to the 1932 Amateur Athletic Union / A.A.U. Tri State Hockey League champions, the Atlantic City Sea Gulls.

The league folded the next season, and the Sea Gulls joined the Eastern Amateur Hockey League / EAHL, bringing the trophy with them.

This trophy was then awarded to the Eastern Amateur Hockey League / EAHL playoff champions, and its' successor league the Eastern Hockey League.
